Energy for Alaska

Successful flow test proves the potential of the third well to be the most successful natural gas well in the entire Cook Inlet in Alaska.

Deutsche Oel & Gas (DOGAG), an oil and gas producer operating in Alaska has successfully completed the flow test for its third well, KLU#3. This test confirmed the initial assessment of the experts on site: The third well has the potential to be the most successful natural gas well in the entire Cook Inlet in Alaska. The tested daily output far exceeds original assumptions.

Based on the current flow test results, Deutsche Oel & Gas will adapt the necessary infrastructure for the production and transportation of the natural resources. If things go as planned, the natural gas extracted in the Kitchen Lights Unit will be helping to alleviate the energy shortage in the Cook Inlet region as early as the end of 2014.
